Politics of the Cross
Where do Christians fit in a two-party system? Moving beyond truisms like ‘Jesus was not a Republican or Democrat,’ this forum will explore why politics matter for Christians and what goals should shape our voting. We’ll take a detailed look at divisive issues - abortion, marriage and sexuality, race, and wealth and poverty - and discuss biblically minded approaches that might surprise Christians on the left and right. This class will be led by Nick Comiskey and Jaden Grimes. This forum will not meet on Feb 5th.

Theodicy: A Loving God and Human Suffering
One of the more challenging theological questions with which we contend is why our benevolent and omnipotent God allows pain and suffering in his creation. This formation forum will attempt to lay a groundwork for how we as Christian believers can perhaps better understand how God both understands, and speaks to us through our pain. This class will be led by Scott Garrison. This forum will not meet on Feb. 5th.
