Care & Prayer Ministries - part of Pastoral Care

The term "Pastoral Care" encompasses wholistic health support (mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual) for individuals and families within the congregation. Christ centered prayer and care ministry and training, fellowship, discipleship, and Biblical counsel are components.

Below are a number of Pastoral Care teams that seek to serve the members of our congregation and often others within our community. Volunteers are always welcome to serve on these teams. If you are interested in serving on one of these teams, please fill out our our Ministry Sign Up sheet.

Friendly Freezer Team

The work of the Intercessory Prayer Team is to undergird, protect, and advance in prayer and intercession, the mission and Ministry of Apostles and the AMiA, and the souls under their charge.

New Baby Ministry
Expectant Mothers are contacted in order to support their pregnancy and to plan for a designated caregiver who will coordinate some meals after the baby's birth and also identify follow-up care,  if needed.
