Robin Bolash robin@apostles-raleigh.org When I was a freshman at UNC- Chapel Hill, I took seminar offered by InterVarsity Christian Fellowship thinking that it would be a great way to meet new people and get more connected to other Christians. That did happen, but what also happened is that I heard the message of the gospel explained clearly and in a way I could understand for the first time. Although I had been a follower of Jesus since High School, I had not until that day fully understood what Jesus had done for me and for all who believe. I remember gasping out loud with amazement at this “Good News” and telling the other students in the room, “If this is true…we need to tell everyone.” Since that moment I have been motivated to help others make a connection to Jesus and to a community of believers. I continue to be amazed at the good news of the Gospel and love to have conversations with people who have questions about spiritual topics or who have not looked at the Bible on their own. I enjoy the process of asking hard questions about Christianity and seeking out the answers, particularly in the company of friends. I grew up in Raleigh and graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in English and Radio, TV and Film. I married the love of my life, Eric, and had the privilege of shepherding many students into deep relationship with the Lord during my nine years on staff with IVCF in Texas. For me, these years were the most formational time of my adult life personally and have shaped who I am, how I live and what my passions are. I continue to love helping people get connected to God and to each other in this new season of Ministry at Church of the Apostles. In my free time you can find me enjoying my husband Eric and my two daughters. You may also find me enjoying a relaxed meal with friends, performing in an improv comedy show in downtown Raleigh, working on a crossword puzzle or reading with and to my children. I am delighted to be a part of the Apostles Staff team and this community.
