The 20’s & 30’s group at Church of the Apostles is a community whose desire is to connect: First and foremost we desire to connect with the Lord. John 15 describes our relationship with the Lord like a branch and a vine. As we remain and abide in Him, He has promised us that He will always remain and abide with us – feeding us and nurturing us with all that we could ever need for life. Second, we desire to connect within the community of faith and find where we fit within the broader family here at Church of the Apostles. Acts chapter 2 describes the founding of the church and it states that ALL the believers met together for teaching, fellowship, communion and prayer. We desire to connect deeply with the body of believers at Apostles and become a vital part of the life and fellowship of God’s church. Finally, we desire to connect with one another, those in and around their 20’s and 30’s, regardless of marital status or family size or race or gender or socioeconomic status or anything that might divide or exclude. We desire to be a community that laughs with one another when it is time to laugh and cries with one another when it is time to cry…a community that supports and encourages and builds and strengthens and challenges one another to grow all for the honor and glory of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
